Giotto´s Bell Tower Tickets

The experience is located at Piazza del Duomo, 6, right in the heart of Florence’s historic center. If you are already staying in the city center, walking is usually the most convenient option.

From Florence’s main station, you can walk to the Duomo area in around 10–15 minutes through the historic center. It is one of the most practical options if you are arriving by train.

If you are coming from other parts of the city or from the airport, you can use Florence’s tram network. Lines T1 and T2 stop relatively close to the Duomo, and one of the usual reference points for continuing on foot to Piazza del Duomo is the Valfonda / Santa Maria Novella area. From there, the walk to the meeting point takes about 10–15 minutes, depending on your pace and route.

Several bus lines stop near the Piazza del Duomo area. The lines associated with this area are C1, C2, 6, 14, and 23. As routes may vary due to roadworks, schedules, or the season, it is advisable to check the exact route on the same day.

To enter the Cathedral and other religious spaces, it is recommended to wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees.

Large bags or bulky backpacks are not allowed inside the monuments, but the experience includes free luggage storage.

All visitors must pass security checks before entering the different monuments. During peak hours, the security line may take longer even if your ticket allows you to skip the ticket purchase line.
